About the Channel Islands...

Close to the California Mainland yet worlds apart, the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and National Park harbor over one hundred and forty species of plants and animals found nowhere else in the world.  Anacapa Islands three iconic features; Arch Rock, Inspiration Point, and the Anacapa Island Light House.

Arch Rock is a 40-foot natural Rock Arch shaped by powerful wind and waves over thousands

of years.

 

Inspiration Point is famous for its breathtaking steep slopes. 

 

Constructed in 1932, the Anacapa Lighthouse was the last lighthouse ever built in the US and features a lonely reminder of years gone by.

We view all the grandeur of these tectonic Islands from a respectful and safe distance from shore so as to not disturb the natural marine life behaviors and ecosystem. On shore excursions are prohibited.
